Pesto sauce is an Italian sauce.It is used as pastas and pizza sauce.You can also used it to make sandwiches, frankies and pita bread for a change.I made it without garlic. I used my own way. I didn't have pine nuts so I used almond instead of it.Main Ingredient of Pesto sauce is sweet basil that has a very unique flavour.
INGREDIENTS
Sweet basil-1 cup
Almonds-5-6
Processed cheese -2tbsp
Ginger -1 tsp
Green chilli -1
Olive oil -1 tsp
Salt to taste
METHOD
Take all the ingredients and grind them to make a fine paste. Pesto sauce is ready to use.You can also store it in refrigerator.
