HONEY CHILLI POTATOES

Honey Chilli Potato is a Indo-Chinese dish.It is being very popular among kids.You can have it as a street food to satisfy your evening food carving to eat something of sweet and Spicey combination of taste. It is very quick and easy to cook and gives you both Indian and Chinese flavour. It is also a very popular starter to serve in parties.
I don't eat onion and garlic so I cook it in my own style.instead of spring onion, I just add capsicum to give it a rich look.

               

INGREDIENTS
Potatoes(cut in fingers) -5
Corn flour-5 tbsp
Soya sauce-4 tsp
Red chilli sauce -2tsp
Tomato ketchup -4tbsp
Vinegar -3tsp
Honey-1tsp
Chopped capsicum- 1/4 cup
Green chillies(chopped) -1
Ginger(grated) -1/2tsp
White sesame seeds-1 tsp
Salt according to taste
Oil for deep frying

Method
Wash the potatoe fingers well.Add corn flour and salt in it.Mix it well so that corn flour covers the potato fingers well.
Heat the oil in a pan and deep fry the potato fingers on the medium flame to be golden and crispy. You should fry the potato fingers in small batches..
Take another pan. Heat 1/2 tsp oil in it.Add capsicum, green chillies and gingers.saute them for 1/2 minute.Now add soya sauce, red chilli sauce, tomato ketchup,honey and vinegar in it.Cook for another 1 minute. Add deep fried potato fingers and sesame seeds and mix well. Serve Honey Chilli Potato hot.
