Khoya Matar paneer



Matar paneer is all time favorite dish of  North India.whenever I ask my kids what to cook, their answer is always 'Matar Paneer'.This time I added a little khoya in it to give it a rich look and taste and everyone in my family liked it very much.
Ingredients :
Peas-500 gm
Cottage cheese -250 gm
Khoya (optional) -100 gm
Capsicum -1/4 cup
Cashews-7-8
Tomatoes -300 gm
Chilli -2-3
Ginger-1/2tsp
Tejpatta -1
Red chilli powder
Coriander powder
Turmeric powder
Cumin seeds
Garam masala
Kasuri methi -2tsp
Black cardamom 2
Fresh cream or malai 1/2 cup
Salt according to taste
Coriander leaves
Ghee-2 tsp
Butter-1/2 tbsp
Method :
Grind tomatoes,chillies,ginger,cashew and 1capsicum in grinder.
Add ghee in the pan and add jeera.  Then add tejpatta, black cardamom and pour the grinded mixture. Add butter,red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala, haldi and cook till it separates the fat,you can also add khoya but it is optional. add malai and mix well. you can also use milk if you don't have malai. Add parboiled peas and paneer,  water or milk to set the consistency. Add salt and kasuri methi. Decorate it with coriander and serve hot.
