Corny cheese balls is one of the good party snacks.it is crispier from outside and cheesy from inside.kids like these mouth melting balls very much.I got this recipe from one of my friends. I tried it today and result was awesome. Everyone liked it very much. Only one thing is to pay heed while frying that oil should be very hot otherwise these ball will break.
INGREDIENTS
All Purpose Flour or maida-3 tbsp
Milk -1 cup
Corn kernals-1 cup(boiled and coarsely grinded)
Processed cheese(grated) -1/2 cup
Salt
Black pepper
Coriander leaves
Green chilli (chopped) -2
Butter-3 tbsp
Maida to make batter -3tbsp
Bread crumbs-4 tbsp
METHOD
Heat the butter in a pan.Add maida and cook for 30 seconds.Add milk and mix them well.This mixture will be thick.Stir it continuously on low flame till it leaves the sides of the pan.switch off the flame. Let it cool down. Add corns,coriander leaves,salt
black pepper,processed cheese and mix it well.Make small balls of it.Take 3 tbsp maida in a bowl and mix water in it to make batter.Dip the balls in this batter and roll them in the bread crumbs. deep fry them in the hot oil till they become golden in colour. Decorate them as you like and Serve with coriander chutney and tomato ketchup.
