                              JANMASHTMI
               
               
Janmashtmi is celebrated on the occasion of Shree Krishna's birthday. This festival is celebrated in all over India. Shree Krishna was born on eighth day of Krishna Paksha of Shravana Month in Mathura. Their birth place 'JANAMBHUMI' in mathura is famous in  all over the world. 
As I belong to Mathura, this festival has been very special for me since my childhood. We all, even the kids, observe fast on this day.All family members together do the preparation for this festival.
Special prasad is made on this day.It is included kuttu flour dishes,delicious paks,aloo chaat and vrat ki arbi. We use sendha namak, kali mirch,amchur powder and jeera to make vrat ka khana or phalahar. 



GANESH CHATURTHI 

Ganesh Chaturthi,Lord Ganesh festival also known as Ganesh chouth or Vinayak Chaturthi.It is celebrated on Bhadrapada shukla Chaturthi.It is celebrated all over India, especially in Maharashtra, as a birthday of Lord Ganesh.The festival lasts for 10 days,ending on the day of 
Anant Choudas.

I celebrate this festival according to my family traditions.On this day we make panchamrut of Ganeshji by five auspicious ingredients like milk,curd,ghee,honey and bura.we also make besan laddoo for Ganesh ji prasad.People also observe fast on this day.All family members take part in the puja.





RADHA ASHTMI
Radha ashtmi is celebrated as a big festival on ashtmi of shukla Paksha in the month of Bhadrapada  as a birthday of Radha ji in Brij-Barsana.Barsana is the birth place of Radha ji.We always have the name of Shree Krishna and Radha ji together. Their love was selfless and unique and it can not be described in words.A big fair is organized in Vrindavan on the occasion of Radha Ashtmi. I used to go to fair in my childhood and now miss it a lot. Prasad distributed onTatiya Sthan (Ashram of our guruji)of Arbi and pag is very famous for its unique and divine taste
