VEGETABLE UTHAPPAM

Mix vegetable uthappam is a healthy and delicious breakfast.I can have it anytime of the day. It is loved by kids also and can be packed in their tiffin box.Flavour of raw smoky vegetables give a unique taste to it.It is south indian food.you can have it with sambhar ,chutney or tomato ketchup.It takes little time to make a perfect uttapam. In starting I tried a lot, but hardwork always pays.So don't be frustrated if it doesn't turn out perfect for the first time. Keep trying to get yummiest breakfast on your table.You can make your own fermented batter to make Uthappam or can buy readymade dosa batter from market.
               


INGREDIENTS
Rice -2 cup
Urad dhuli dal-1 cup
Salt
Chopped vegetables
Carrot
Cabbage
French beans
Tomatoes
Cauliflower
Capsicum

Oil

METHOD
Soak dal and rice separately for 6 hour.
Grind them separately and mix together. Mix salt in it.
keep this mixture for 12 hours for fermentation. After fermentation it becomes double. Now it is ready to use.
Heat non-stick tava.Take two table spoon mixture and spread it on tava in circular motion,little thicker than dosa.Put chopped and mixed vegetables on it and spread them evenly on its surface.press the vegetables with a spatula. Apply oil on it.when it cooks well from its base, turn over it and cook from the vegetables side till it become little golden in colour. Vegetable Uthappam is ready to serve.
