Dal ki puri is tasty and easy to make.It is a very good option to replace your normal puries. There is no need to soak dal for it.You can make it on shortest notice and give a variety to your food.It can be eat with any meal.You can have it with the curry of aloo tamatar or aloo chana.
INGREDIENTS
Wheat flour -1/2 kg
Dhuli urad dal-50 gm
Dhuli yellow moong dal-50 gm
Sounf-1 tbsp
Coriander powder -2tsp
Red chilli powder -1 tsp
Garam masala -1/2 tsp
Hing- a pinch
Salt to taste
Oil -2 tbsp
Oil for deep frying
Water to knead stiff dough
METHOD
Grind dhuli urad dal, yellow moong dal, sounf and hing together to make fine powder. Take wheat flour in a bowl. Add grinded dal powder,salt,coriander powder, red chilli powder, garam masala.Mix well.Add 3 tbsp oil and mix again with the help of your both palm.Add water slowly to make a stiff dough. Rest it for 10 minutes. Make small ball of the dough.roll the balls with a rolling pin like puri.It should not be thin.
Heat oil for deep frying in a pan.Deep fry puries on the medium flame until they turn golden from both side.Crispy Dal ki puries are ready to serve. Serve them hot with aloo tamatar, aloo chana,pickle or any curry of your choice.
