LOUNJI (Carry chutney)


This sweet and sour chutney is the best condiment served with any meal.We call it  Lounji.sour taste of  carry, sweetness of sugar and their combination with spices make it tastey and healthy condiment of summer.
Ingredients :
Chopped carry -250gm
Salt-2tsp
Black salt-1 tsp 
Jeera-1/2 tsp
Sounf(coarsely grinded) -1/2 tsp 
Heeng-a pinch 
Haldi-1/4 tsp
Red chilli powder -1tsp
Black pepper -1/4tsp
Sugar- 3 Tbsp 
Coriander powder -1tsp
Garam masala -1/4 tsp
Oil -1tsp
method
Heat the oil in the pan.put jeera and Heeng for chounk. Add chopped carry, salt,black salt and haldi.put it covered for 5 min or till the carry become soft.stir in between. When carry become soft,mash them well and Add all the spices and sugar and boil it on low flame for 3-4 minutes. Carry chutney is ready Let it be cool and store in the refrigerator. 
Note-you can adjust salt and sugar according to your taste.
